Cyborg Heads Up!

Well it only seems right to follow a Cyborg sketch wit hanother Cyborg sketch. This sketch of Cyborg was done by Jay Brant of Heads Up Studios. I figure the name of the studio combined with the actual sketch explains quite a bit. Jay can be found on his website.

Cyborg - Marcio Takara

Our latest sketch is Cyborg by artist Marcio Takara. Marcio did this at a Toronto Convention last year. Marcio has since done an incredible Hong Kong Phooey for me which I will post up here at a later date. More of Marcio's work can be found on his website.

The Mid-Nite Hour

This latest post is by our old friend writer B. Clay Moore. While Clay is best known as the writer of Hawaiian Dick at Image Comics, The Mid-Nite Hour is another of his creations. The character appeared in the Image Comics mini series "Battle Hymn," a short story in the Image Comics Christmas Special from 2005 (I think that was the year) and hopefully will make another appearance in the near future!

Today is the second sketch from Jonboy Meyers, also done in Chicago 2005. You will notice it was also done on the same Werewolf by Night card as the Wolverine sketch..

Jonboy Meyers Week

This week I will be posting a few sketches done by Jonboy Meyers. Jonboy is not new to my blog as he was the subject of my very first post with his Raven sketch. This sketch is obviously Wolverine and this sketch was done in Chicago in 2005. The sketch is actually on a large card showing Jonboy's Werewolf by Night art for the VS card game system. If you look you can see that it also shows the address for Jonboy's website where you can also see more of his work. This site is also linked under "Other Restaurants" on this blog as "Jon Boy's Fine Dining."

The Original Dove

This latest sketch which is of the original Dove was done by Robbi Rodriguez. This sketch is in my Teen Titans sketchbook and was done by Robbi a couple of years ago in Chicago. Robbi was the penciller on Hero Camp and Hazed from Image, as well as the book Maintenance from Oni Press.
