While this was an extremely quick sketch, it was still done by one of my long time favorites, Mike Grell. Mike did this sketch for me a long time ago... 99 0r 2000, not sure which. It was definitely at Wizardworld in Chicago though. As much as I would have loved something more from Mike, the fact is it was incredibly good fortune that I even got this one. At the time that I found Mike Grell in artist alley he was completely booked up for sketches... and yes I found him on the Saturday and Sunday was already full too. Mike though was very gracious and offered to do a very quick sketch for me. I can't say how much I appreciated the gesture, and how much I still do as I have not seen him at a convention since that time. If I ever get the chance I will gladly upgrade to a bigger sketch but if I never get that opportunity, I will still have this one and I am good with that.
