This is the second of 2 Jason Armstrong sketches that I have, this one is in my Teen Titans sketchbook. Jason is currently working on an issue of Hawaiian Dick with writer B. Clay Moore. Jason did this sketch in Toronto a couple of years ago.

This latest sketch is a new Starfire sketch by Agnes Garbowska. Agnes did this sketch for me in Chicago this year. Agnes can draw just about any super hero or anything else for that matter and make it extremely cute. I also picked up some small Batman and Wonder Woman charms that she made, both of which can be see on her website.
Well it only seems right to follow a Cyborg sketch wit hanother Cyborg sketch. This sketch of Cyborg was done by Jay Brant of Heads Up Studios. I figure the name of the studio combined with the actual sketch explains quite a bit. Jay can be found on his website.
Our latest sketch is Cyborg by artist Marcio Takara. Marcio did this at a Toronto Convention last year. Marcio has since done an incredible Hong Kong Phooey for me which I will post up here at a later date. More of Marcio's work can be found on his website.

Can't say I am a huge fan of skrulls, or of what looks to be a massive retcon of Marvel's history, so needless to say when I got a hold of a sketch cover for Secret Invasion #1 I was definitely putting a DC character on the cover. I figure the only way that Secret Invasion could actually interest me would be if Darkseid and his minions from Apocalypse were doing the invading... so Darkseid it was. As for the artist, well if your going to get a sketch of a Kirby's Darkseid then the obvious choice is Mike Cho! Mike very graciously did this sketch for me last weekend in Toronto despite the fact that I was asking him to sketch on very poor paper. Sorry Mike... but you do rock!! As always check out Mike's blog for more of his outstanding work!!! Thanks Mike!!
Finally a new post... I know that is what both of my viewers are thinking. This sketch is Wonder Girl as done by J. Bone. J. Bone is an outstanding artist who has worked for a few different companies, including Oni and DC. He is currently the cover artist for the Johnny DC book, DC Super Friends and was the inker on the fantastic book The Spirit with Darwyn Cooke. He did this sketch for me at a very small show in Toronto about two years ago.
OK a quick post today as I have felt awful for getting behind...
This Starfire sketch is based on the animated series Starfire and was drawn by Canadian superstar in the making Ramon Perez. Ramon has a long running online comic strip called Butternut Squash. BNS is easily my favorite online strip today. He is also a regular contributor to Transmission X, the home to several online strips including Ramon's Kukuburi.

Love this Speedy sketch. Done in Toronto in 2005 or 2006 for my Titans sketch book. I believe the artist was Mike Delmundo of Bright Anvils Studios, although I could be wrong. Definitely a Bright Anvil artist though. If anyone knows for sure... feel free to drop me a line.
